The main difference in the 60 vs. 61 version is that the 60 has a max SPL of 134 dB (max peak sound pressure / volume), and the 61 can record up to 144 dB max SPL. Personally, I'd just get the 61 version and make sure to have a high-quality audio recorder with an extremely low noise floor.
