There are three types of this adapter. The VXLR, VXLR+, and VXLR Pro (this one). They are fundamentally different in the fact that the VXLR+ and Pro transform phantom power into plug-in power!

This VXLR Pro is the newest itteration and it is the most Pro — hence the name. It's converts the 3.5mm mini Jack signal into a balanced signal which is less prone to interferences. You can check out the video above to see what that means and how these three adapters are different from each other.
